1941 Royal Enfield WD/C side valve 350cc 4-speed gearbox (see below for history)
This motorcycle was built by Royal Enfield at its factory in Redditch, Worcestershire in June 1941 as part of a contract for the War office, research into its military service is still on going.
The motorcycle was purchased in 2003 from a magazine advert, completely dismanteled, with the frame being the largest piece intact, with other components placed into 3 large boxes.
During reassembly & renovation, certain markings and numbers were found, along with frame and engine numbers, this helped to confirm date of manufacture, the army service number found during renovation has been applied.
